Certified Instructor

Bryan Kellert
Licensed Instructor
4th Degree Black Belt

When Bryan Kellert began his training with The Dojo at the age of seven, he expressed his interest to teach karate one day, just like his instructors. After graduating from the University of Alabama, he did just that. Today he has received the highest rank offered to any student in The Dojo American Karate Centers, system-wide. A natural-born leader, he has served as The Dojo's tournament coach while still competing in a variety of skills including Filipino stick fighting, submission wrestling, karate forms, sparring and weapons. He further cultivated his leadership as a graduate of Cadet Officer Leadership School, receiving numerous recognitions in academics, drill competitions, and superior performance, among others. In an effort to further his understanding of marial arts and its origins, he has participated in travels with The Dojo's staff to Japan and Thailand. He continues to set the highest standard of ethical guidance for The Dojo's youths and coordinates demonstrations and seminars as a representative of his instructor, William Gaffney.
